Subsequent to the unfortunate illness of Vice Captain, Alastair Kerr, various options have been discussed as to the best way forward in filling the position of Captain of the Club for 2009.

After much discussion, and hopefully with the approval of the Members, Mr John Henderson has agreed to step straight into the office of Captain of the Club, by-passing the role of Vice Captain for which he was originally nominated.

This move has the full support of Committee, and the Committee is confident that the Members will support Mr Henderson when the proposal is put to them for approval at the AGM, and indeed through his year in office.

We are pleased to be able to inform you that Alastair Kerr is making good, if slightly slow progress, and tires easily.  He does however hope to be back to full fitness in the Spring.
