Welcome to the website of Cathcart Castle Golf Club Glasgow. The club was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest in the area. We are located  conveniently on the south side of the City of Glasgow on the Mearns Road, approx 1 mile from Clarkston Toll on the A727. Get printed directions and interactive map.

The golf course is played over undulating parkland and offers a challenge to all levels of golfers. Measuring 5861yds from the medal tees, it is surrounded by picturesque and panoramic views of the City of Glasgow. You will also enjoy the fine views towards the hills in the North West and Loch Lomond.

Saturday 20th March is Opening Day for season 2010. Why not come along and join the Social Evening starting at 7.30pm. The dress code is smart/casual and the music is provided by Freeway. Professional’s Tip of the Month -

 Make sure your spikes are in good condition
Whether you use soft spikes or steel spikes, make sure they are not worn down. A poor foothold will unbalance your swing and quickly drain your confidence. It also makes it a lot safer especially when negotiating a slope - often with your hands in your pockets. Especially with the Arctic weather we have experienced recently !!
