Welcome to the website of Cathcart Castle Golf Club Glasgow. The club was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest in the area. We are located  conveniently on the south side of the City of Glasgow on the Mearns Road, approx 1 mile from Clarkston Toll on the A727. Get printed directions and interactive map.

The golf course is played over undulating parkland and offers a challenge to all levels of golfers. Measuring 5861yds from the medal tees, it is surrounded by picturesque and panoramic views of the City of Glasgow. You will also enjoy the fine views towards the hills in the North West and Loch Lomond.

Annual General Meeting 2009
Gordon K Campbell was elected Captain of the club at the AGM held in the clubhouse on Friday 4th December. Gordon paid tribute to Past Captain John Henderson and thanked him for his work during his year in office. John’s last duty as Captain was the presentation of trophies to the 2009 competition winners....... see slideshow

Most greens play slower in the winter, not only because they are damp but also because the greenkeeper will want to protect them.  This means that the putt will break much less than in summer and will stop more quickly – so take less break and strike the ball firmly
